ABOUT THE COMPANY

Astron Energy is a leading supplier of petroleum products in Southern Africa, with a network of more than 800 service stations. This makes the company the second-largest fuel retail network in the region. Astron Energy owns and operates the crude oil refinery in Cape Town with a processing capacity of 100,000 barrels per day, a lubricant manufacturing plant in Durban as well as several terminals across Southern Africa.

In 2022, the company began rebranding its network of service stations under a fresh and distinctive brand identity. The rebrand represents the most significant change in South Africa’s liquid fuels industry in three decades and is a key pillar in Astron Energy’s ambition to become South Africa’s next biggest fuel brand.
